This policy explains how Chess Trainer AI handles information created in the app and website. We do not require a name or phone number; an anonymous random device identifier is used instead.

Information we process

Device identifier, language and app version; nickname, avatar, training progress, points, membership, games and move comments; and feedback you submit.

Why we use it

To preserve progress, deliver membership benefits, recommend training, operate leaderboards, enable game sharing and comments, and diagnose service failures.

Local and server data

Some simulations, preferences and unshared personal notes stay on your device. Shared replays, classic-game comments, membership state and essential service data are stored on our servers.

Third-party analytics

We use Umeng Mobile Analytics to process app launches, page visits, feature events, and device and app version information to understand feature usage and improve reliability. Installed-app-list collection and phone-state permissions are disabled on Android.

Sharing and retention

We do not sell personal information. Data is handled only for infrastructure, legal compliance, or safety needs and retained only as long as needed for those purposes.

Your choices

You may clear local cache, change your nickname and avatar, or contact us to access, correct or delete server data linked to your device.

Deletion and retention

You may send the device UID shown in the app's Profile section to huangdh4@gmail.com to request deletion of the anonymous profile, nickname, avatar, training progress, points, public posts, comments, shared games, and feedback associated with that UID. We will verify the request and normally complete it within 30 days, then confirm the result. Local data can be removed by clearing the cache or uninstalling the app. Purchase and subscription transaction records controlled by Apple cannot be deleted by us. We may retain the minimum records required for legal obligations, refunds, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or community-safety evidence only for as long as necessary, after which they will be deleted or anonymized.
